I personally recommend MFF over all of them any day, some of them listed can cause problems with unique followers like inigo, not had any problems with MFF and uniques, I don't use MFF on them though, only on followers like serana, Lydia etc.

Unpacked the bsa, ran sse nif optimizer on the nif files, then converted the animation files and repacked it all (except the bsl, which apparently you don't need) then dropped the zipped file into nmm and installed it manually. Here's my personal followers mod for Oblivion. They are very useful for players that use Basic Primary Needs. It is also compatible to mods editing leveled lists so they can give you new foods/drinks too. It is scripted simply so I hope no serious bugs happen. The EFF compatibility patch works for me, just make sure you have the one listed in the optional section of Interesting NPC's nexus page. The one made by Noozbar. If that doesn't work, try an early version of Simple Multiple Followers, when it didn't screw the follower AI up.
